🚲 Kids Bike Safety Rodeo – Free Community Event! đŸšŚDrop in anytime between 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM!

Bring your kids and their bikes for a fun, free, hands-on Bike Safety Rodeo—an interactive event designed to build confidence and teach safe riding habits in a playful, welcoming environment.

Kids need to bring their own bikes and helmets. Participants will receive a formal Certificate of Completion signed by city officials. Snacks and refreshments will be available.

👧👦 Who’s it for?Children roughly ages 5 to 14 who can confidently ride a bike without training wheels or scoot bikes. This event is best suited for kids who are ready to learn and practice real-world bike safety skills.

🏁 What’s Happening:

  • Bike handling and safety skill stations
  • Learn road signs, hand signals, and basic traffic awareness
  • Ride through a fun skills and obstacle course
  • Helmet fit checks (free helmets available while supplies last)
  • Basic bike mechanical checks to ensure bikes are safe to ride
  • Meet local bike safety volunteers and police officers

  • A working bicycle
  • A helmet
  • A water bottle
  • Closed-toe shoes
  • A parent or responsible adult – children must be supervised
  • And of course… a fun, can-do attitude! 😄

🚴‍♂️ Stick around after the Rodeo! Immediately following the rodeo at 10:00 AM, join in the Community Bike Ride on the Dunwoody Trailway—a relaxed, family-friendly group ride open to riders of all ages and abilities. It’s a great next step for kids to practice their new skills!
