Please voice your support for our Mayor & Council to continue to “Complete” our Dunwoody streets.

Bicycles on Tilly Mill + Possible Future

The left 2 images are from Tilly Mill headed towards N. Peachtree. Many of our streets look like this today. The other 3 show examples elsewhere in Dunwoody that DO provide accommodation for human-powered transportation. Which images look better to you? Live, work, play in the Dunwoody or Perimeter Area? Interested in seeing this pocket of Metro Atlanta continue to build on the 10+ miles of bike lanes that have been created in our town? Once DeKalb County Water has finished their pipe replacement work along Mt. Vernon & Chamblee-Dunwoody, we’ll have another two miles of bike lanes!

Checkout our progress at this LINK and you’ll be amazed

But we need a CONNECTED network. Including such places as Tilly MillWinters Chapel.

PLEASE sign the on-line petition below asking to continue building our streets that include both sidewalks and bike lanes aka “Complete Streets”.

Each year, the Council votes on our Capital Paving & Improvement projects. Wouldn’t you like a SAFE & COMPLETE network to go to Dunwoody Village, Georgetown, The Shops at Williamsburg, Brook Run Park, the Perimeter Business District, for our children to go to school, to meet a friend for coffee, go to the library, getting some exercise, or for the simple joy of going out for a bike ride? This would truly be…

TRANSFORMATIONAL!!
